4 weeks and counting
Not long now and the final stages of planning are wildly kicking in

So - 4 weeks to go..can I contain my excitement? NO! We experienced a major victory in the us vs. visa situation in that the expected visa tally went from 4 to 3 to 2 and we're now ready to go. The finals visa's present and account for in the little green passport are Schengen and Bulgarian - it seems the Romanian Consulate was happy enough that we'd managed to obtain those 2, and didn't deem it necessary for us to go through their own process merely to prove the same points... oh if only all foreign consulates were that accommodating! We still both need to buy Turkish visa's at the border but we'll cross that metaphorical bridge when we get there. So - the city specific planning begins...
.... I can taste that Parisian champagne already...
